Check it!

This summer, after a trip to Vernal where Lincoln watched his older cousins cruising around without training wheels, I think something clicked for him.  He had fire in his eyes and he was determined to be one of them.
He asked for his training wheels to be taken off and within about three days he was off!

Then, a couple weeks ago and out of the blue, Amelia asked to have her training wheels taken off.  Derek had taken them off once before, when Lincoln had wanted his off.  That lasted about three minutes and she wanted them back.  This time, though, there must have been fire in her eyes, too!
She is still getting the hang of it but she is a trooper!

Riding without training wheels is one of those landmark occasions in children's lives.
The kids are proud.
The parents are proud.
It's beautiful and we are there!
