Last week the kids' school had a field trip to a pumpkin patch.
Derek took the morning off and joined us.
We started off with a tractor ride out into the pumpkin fields.
The kids got to pick their own pumpkins out of the field.
They were all still attached to the vines and we would raise our hand for a worker to come cut it off.
\After the tractor ride, we went back to a big area that had lots of things for the kids to do
like play some instruments...
Play in a big ghost...
Go through tunnels...
Play on big tires...
See-saw...
Wander through a corn maze...
Ride on a barrel train...
Go down some big slides...
Hang with dad...
Feed some llamas...
And just have a good time!
The weather couldn't have been better-
The sun was shining and the air was cool.
It made for a pretty awesome pumpkin patch trip.
I love this time of year!
